"Humans inspire me so I focus on portraits or people on the streets."
Tell us about yourself.
I'm 27 from Vietnam. I'm an architect living in Hanoi city.
When and how did the film journey begin for you?
I began taking film photographs about 7 years ago. I used to use a DSLR Canon then i tried to use some film cameras and love it now as well.
What drives you to keep shooting film?
I love the tone of the film pallet. I learned to be patient and careful not to shoot any photo. Besides that, shooting film makes me feel more special.
How did the first roll of fim come out?
On the first roll of film I took some photographs of landscapes and nature. It makes me feel wonderful when I think about the quality and color.
What do you focus on when shooting film and what inspires you?
I tried to take the photographs of many things. But humans inspire me so I focus on portraits or people on the streets.
How do you see improving your technique or what do you want to learn more regarding film?
I shot so many rolls of film and for each shot I tried to remember the camera settings and the light and environment, so that when I see the photos, I learn more from my experience for the next shot.
What would you shoot on your last roll?
On the last fil, I would take photographs of my family. I never do that and always want to do that.
