Tell us about yourself.
I am 53, live in Plainfield, NJ, and am a Medical Underwriter by day.
When and how did you discover instant film?
I grew up with my Dad's land camera and also used Polaroid backs for 4x5 in the 1980s. However, I rediscovered instant early in 2014.
What type of instant film do you usually shoot and what made you choose it?
1.Instax Wide: good color and an all-around film.
2. Impossible 600 Black & White which have been my favorite of theirs.
3. Fuji 3000B-great tones and can be used in low light.
4. Fuji 100C-persnickety at times, but excellent color rendition (and cool for bleaching).
What camera(s) do you use?
Fuji Instax 210 Wide, Polaroid Supercolor 635CL, and Polaroid Land 210.
Between black and white and colour film which would you choose?
Black & white.
Do you perform any experiments with the instant film? If you do, please share info on your little wonders.
Bleaching Fuji 100C negatives by taking bleach gel and removing the black backing of the negative. Then I scan the negative and work with it. I have a couple of examples on line.
If you had 1 instant film right now and 30 minutes to shoot it all, what would you shoot?
Impossible 600 Black & White.
