"I think you lose the concept of "instant" if you change something after the development process."

Tell us about yourself.

I'm 34 years old, I live in Lecce (in the deep south Italy) and until recently I was a journalist.

When and how did you discover instant film?

I discovered the instant photography about 4 months ago: a photographer friend of mine told me that my photos (shot with an iPhone) were suitable Polaroid format. So I bought an Instant Lab to print my old photos. I later bought a Polaroid camera (for 600 film) and recently a Fuji Instax Wide 300.

Between black and white and colour film which would you choose?

I prefer a little more black and white but for me (right now) the color films are easier to handle.

Do you perform any experiments with the instant film? If you do, please share info on your little wonders.

I have not tried any type of manipulation, and I am not sure I would like to. I think you lose the concept of "instant" if you change something after the development process.

If you had 1 instant film right now and 30 minutes to shoot it all, what would you shoot?

In the latest months, where I live, there is a great golden light: I think I would do a minimal photograph of a desert place, at the sea, in the afternoon.
