Natural Elements by Johams Leguisamo
"I'll never forget my first roll, that feeling of waiting to see how the photos come out."
Tell us about yourself.
I am 27 years old, I’m from Panama City, Panama and working as a graphic designer.
What first interested you in analog photography?
When I studied graphic design in the university, I had a class of photography with analog cameras; I'll never forget my first roll, that feeling of waiting to see how the photos come out, the colors on each photo (digital cameras can't provide those colors) the contrast, that is something special and unique.
What camera makes you click?
My first TLR was a Seagull 4a; the quality of the pics, the design of the camera, everything is so perfect. Good and cheap.
What do you focus on when shooting film?
Creating a wonderful memory of that moment.
Do you have a favorite analog photographer or web site you would like to recommend?
Ansel Adams, Oliver Barton, Bastian Kalous, Vladimir Rios from Panama; the list continues.
Do your photos reveal your feelings?
I try to; I always shoot places and moments that bring me happiness.
