Tell us about yourself.
My name is Stelios Papiemidoglou and i live in Nikaia, Greece.
When and how did the film journey begin for you?
About a year ago, i came up with the thought that if i worked with film i would expand my knowledge in photography.I thought that quality matters more than quantity and thats what got me started. The specific number of shots that a film provides makes me think of each photo seperately before i shoot it,giving it all the time needed.
What type of film do you usually shoot and what made you choose it?
My current work is based on a period of trial, experimenting on different films.I started my work with 10 year old expired Konica Minolta VX100 films and then i used some low cost ones. This period of time i work with kodak Gold200.
What camera makes you click?
I've got a Minolta X500 and an old russian tank FED5 camera.
What lenses do you use?
- 50mm-f1.7
- 28mm-f2.8
- 135mm-f2.8 but i mostly use the 50mm.
