SUSPIRIA by Daniel Bocai

My name is Daniel Bocai, but most people call me Dane. I’m 20 and I’m from Cluj-Napoca, Romania. I am studying Cognitive Sciences and Artificial Intelligence in the Netherlands, although I’m not sure I’ll keep this path in the future as photography is actually the thing I’m passionate about. I enjoy traveling, discovering new places and absorbing inspiration from everywhere I can, and of course, shooting pictures whenever I find the chance. As a kid, I was always drawn to photography and alway

Leading up to the shoot, I'm really nervous because 1; they're strangers. 2; I'm very introverted. 3; would be the first time I'm shooting strangers.

Arina by Victor Trusov

In this series, Arina basically built one more layer – a fortress between me and her. The viewer ruined her privacy, so it's not comfortable anymore for her to be herself.

The equipment used does not really matter in my work: some images are taken spontaneously (I just pick a basic camera, load it and shoot); sometimes I draw my picture weeks before I shoot, sometimes I use a field camera with paper or film or a pinhole camera.

I'm a traditionalist photographer and I work mainly with analogue cameras (Nikon FM2, Canon AE1, Pentax 645, Weltaflex 120 and toy cameras) becouse is much more poetic. I develop my own color and black and white rolls and I print by myself.

Polaroid experiments with Luigi Ulisse Iovane

For over 30 years I have been dealing with the world of "images" and organizing a festival of animated films (Imaginaria - www.imaginaria.eu ) since 2003. I have always been fascinated by the Polaroid that has an important place in my artistic and professional life.I can identify myself as a "polaroider experimenter" and i use several vintage Polaroid machines (SX-70, SLR 680) but also new tools such as the Polaroid Lab. The photos here are part of my latest experimental and research works.

I like to use always the same tools so that I don't have to think about it while shooting and to always get the same result.

iso 400 pushed to 1600 by Ivan Kavaldzhiev

Ivan Kavaldzhiev is one of our older friends, that had already been published before here. In this series, I wanted to convey a mixture of classy, romantic and in the same time playful feeling. I used a variety of cameras - Mamiya RZ 67, Plaubel Makina 67, Pentax 645N II and Rolleiflex 2.8E. I've loaded them with Kodak Portra 400 and Fuji Pro 400H pushed to 1600 ASA which gave me better low-light capabitilies and a bit more contrast. I'm a photograher based in Sofia, Bulgaria and have been int
